Professional Color Grading Mastery

An intensive 12-month program designed for serious video professionals ready to master the art and science of color grading through hands-on projects and industry mentorship.

Apply for September 2025

Beyond Technical Skills

Most color grading courses teach you which buttons to push. We teach you why to push them. This program emerged from years of working with colorists who knew their software inside and out but struggled with creative decision-making.

You'll spend your time on actual client projects — not artificial exercises. From week three, you're working on real footage that needs to be delivered to actual clients. It's challenging, sometimes messy, and exactly what you need to develop professional instincts.

  • Work with raw footage from Taiwan's film and advertising industry
  • One-on-one weekly sessions with working professionals
  • Complete portfolio of 15+ graded projects by program end
  • Direct client interaction and feedback sessions
  • Advanced workflow optimization and color theory

Your 12-Month Journey

Each phase builds on previous skills while introducing new challenges. You'll notice the difficulty ramp is intentional — by month six, you're handling projects that would have seemed impossible at the start.

Foundation & Color Theory

Months 1-3

Start with the fundamentals that many professionals skip. Color theory isn't just academic — you'll see how understanding wavelengths and perception directly impacts your grading decisions. We cover DaVinci Resolve, but more importantly, you'll learn principles that apply regardless of your software choice.

Client Project Integration

Months 4-6

This is where things get real. You'll be assigned to ongoing client projects, working alongside our team on commercial and narrative work. Expect to feel overwhelmed at first — that's normal. The goal isn't perfection but learning to make confident decisions under actual deadlines.

Advanced Techniques & Specialization

Months 7-9

Choose your focus area: narrative film, commercials, or documentary work. Each has different demands and aesthetic approaches. You'll dive deep into advanced techniques like power windows, tracking, and complex secondary corrections while developing your personal style.

Portfolio & Professional Practice

Months 10-12

The final phase focuses on building your professional presence. You'll complete a capstone project, compile your portfolio, and practice client communication skills. We also cover the business side — pricing your work, managing client relationships, and building a sustainable practice.

Learn from Active Professionals

Our instructors aren't just teachers — they're working colorists who take time from their client work to share what they've learned. This means you get current industry insights, not outdated techniques.
